Welcome to
 Vending

The school vending program has two components. One is the school vending program which shares profits and expenses with participating schools. The second component provides vended products to other DPS buildings, Fox Street, Service Building, bus terminals, Administration Building, etc.

In 2004, the Department decided to remove all “unhealthy” products from schools. Today, the healthy vending program meets or exceeds all standards of the DPS Wellness policy, and Senate Bill 103 (Healthy Vending Bill). The Department has been approached by other schools to provide a healthy vending program for their district.

FNS pioneered healthy beverage guidelines three years before the American Beverage Association and the Alliance for a Healthier Generation published their guidelines for beverages sold in schools.

Vending maintains a fleet of four vending trucks.
